Product Service Intern to support our WW Kodak Product Service Team in Rochester, NY for the Summer and Fall Semester: June – November 2021
As a Product Service Intern you will be supporting a key internal project that will integrate and automate our field service needs across all product lines and around the globe. In this role, you will participate in the preparation, update and migration of key knowledge assets including – documents, graphics, video, and training content used daily by our WW Kodak Product Service Team.
Key Areas of responsibility
Work with migration team to develop comprehensive inventory of current assets by group/product/author and relevance for migration, updates or archival.
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assess current content, tag for migrate, update or archive.
Assist with the migration process: updates, meta data tagging, file upload and transfer. Following published standard and processes for consistent content publishing and categorization.
Provide support to update content of asset as needed (word, html, pdf, image, video).
Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking, and project management
Outgoing, approachable, and able to participate in team discussions.
Proficient with MS Word, html, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, Indesign, Visio
Additional Video editing and design skills a plus
Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
Aptitude to quickly understand products and technology.
Meeting coordination, participation, leadership, documentation, and follow-up – using Microsoft Teams, One Note, One Drive
Maintain a positive outlook, responds to challenges and objections, provides solutions.
Ability to work with a diverse range of team members and subject experts – international, technical, engineering, office based and production-based contacts.
Knowledge of the Graphic Arts Industry is a plus but not required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Must be a student in good standing, currently enrolled in an accredited program.
Previous work, community service or personal experience as part of a team, customer facing or customer service role.
Experience delivering a task/project on time – as an individual contributor working on a matrix team or diverse team.
30 – 40 hours/ week, typically 8 am – 5 pm, but flexibility is available due to international contact required and any class schedule accommodation needed
