Description
Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and is responsible for ensuring a trauma informed care environment.
Starting Rate: $15.30 / Hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides reception and clerical assistance for the HEAP Program.
Answers inbound inquiries about HEAP Program and guidelines.
Screens incoming requests for appropriate program access either mail in application; on site interviews for emergency or standard HEAP; or telephone applications.
Processes incoming mail and outgoing mail.
Keeps track of supplies and orders additional supplies as needed.
Other record keeping and filing as necessary.
Develops and maintains accurate records.
Maintains an up-to-date accessible filing system for application files.
Meets and greets all who arrive at the HEAP Office in a professional and friendly manner.
Refers persons to appropriate staff.
Maintains a log of all persons coming to site.
Awareness of and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan. Including, but not limited to, supporting the Agency's Core Competency initiatives of being Collaborative and Community Focused, Innovative and Entrepreneurial, and Culturally Competent and Diverse

Participates in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings
Actively pursues development of professional competencies related to job role performance through reading, supervision, in-service training and attendance at conferences and workshops.

Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree in Human Services, Secretarial Science, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Credentials: N/A
Experience: Two years clerical experience preferred.
