Per Diem opportunities available for Evening and Overnight shifts. Per Diem Nurses must commit to a minimum of THREE weekend shifts per month, ONE weekday shift per month + one winter holiday shift and one summer holiday shift ** generous shift differential for evenings and overnights; additional incentives for weekends.


The RN contributes to the interdisciplinary care planning process through data collection, implementation, and supervision of the CNA. Meeting the care needs of the residents through such nursing skills as performance of personal care, ADLs, medication administration, prescribed treatments, and accurate documentation. The RN is mentored by the Clinical Coordinator and is accountable to the residents, family, and Core team.


Current NYS RN license

Current NYS CPR certification

Minimum of ONE to TWO YEARS' post-license experience

Previous experience with long term elder care highly desirable

Leadership, organizational, and communication skills required

Weekend and holiday availability is required on a rotating basis

Required to attend full orientation on Mon-Tues-Wed from 8:00 am-4:00 pm

Compliance with NYS Department of Health immunization requirements, including the COVID-19 full vaccine series prior to start date.

Physical Requirements

Stands, sits, and walks most of the day. Frequent moving and ability to lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform activities as defined in skills check list.

Annual flu vaccination required (or physician-documented exemption).
