Citizens Bank Retail District Branch Manager in Rochester, New York

Description

The District Sales Manager (DSM) plays a pivotal role in achieving business results through people by bridging retail strategic objectives to branch behaviors and deliverables. The DSM drives market performance, sales growth, and customer satisfaction through visible leadership, rigorous performance management, key partnerships, prioritization, planning, and problem resolution. This seasoned leader will manage and coach to the overall profitability and success of the retail branches. They will take an active role in the creation and implementation of strategic direction. The DSM plays an integral role as key member of the marketplace leadership team to ensure client needs are satisfied, customer relations are established and colleagues are professionally developed.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develops High Performing Teams – Commits energy to coaching and mentoring, managing the performance of the team and building the collective capability of colleagues

  • Builds Trust and Demonstrates Value – Applies expertise to credibly influence customers, working in partnership with stakeholders to build trust and reputation

  • Delivers Sustainable Performance – Achieves operational excellence committing to appropriate supervision and control, and makes sound business decisions to manage risk.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, some weekends and evenings required

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Successful candidates will have leadership and management skills associated with growing a business, managing key financial drivers (top-line and increasing bottom-line responsibility in a P&L environment).

  • This role is a senior level position and successful candidates must have experience with managing multiple regions consisting of 10 to 15 branches within each region

  • Proven experience in coaching, developing and mentoring Regional Managers to strengthen and refine coaching and leadership skills.

  • Direct the sales and service initiatives for the team.

  • Manage bank visibility and recognition in the communities within the market.

  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, inspire and retain Talent.

  • Multiple branch management experience required

  • Ability to relocate within the Citizens Bank footprint

  • Bachelors Degree required

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
