FIFCO USA Retail Team Member in Rochester, New York

BREW HOUSE HOURS OF OPERATION:

Sunday - Thursday | 11am-10pm

Friday & Saturday | 11am-11pm

As a Gift Shop Team Member , you'll assist the Brew House Manager with providing a great experience to our visitors, as well as communicate ideas and suggestions for improvements. The retail team member will participate in retail functions including, but not limited to:

  • Great customer service

  • Meeting sales goals

  • Inventory

  • Cash and Accounting

  • Merchandising

  • Store Maintenance

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the FIFCO USA experience in the retail store which encompasses sights, sounds, smells, and education in all areas of responsibilities

  • Become an expert in FIFCO USA culture and history

  • Obtains and maintains knowledge of FIFCO USA beer styles, brewing, and packaging processes, and is able to communicate to patrons through tours, tastings, and each visitor contact

  • Assist with seasonal sales and marketing plans including but not limited to: promotions, advertising, and events to meet mission and sales growth objectives

  • Meets visitor and sales targets through active participation and attendance of events and promotions

  • Responsible for receipt and inspection of purchased merchandise

  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining seasonal displays, in-store promotions, and store decoration

  • Provides great customer service, greets and assists customers, responds to customer inquiries and concerns, and provides a great FIFCO USA retail experience

  • Trains for and tracks sales to ensure that customers receive great service and great quality merchandise

  • Presents ideas and improvement recommendations to the Manager and Assistant Manager

  • Responsible for opening, closing, maintenance, and merchandising processes to keep the retail store in great shape

  • Follows established safety, health, and security procedures while communicating concerns to Manager or Assistant Manager

  • Assist with records of purchases, sales, and requisitions as requested

  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required/assigned

  • Responsible for cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting

  • Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment

    QUALIFICATIONS , SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior customer service experience

  • 6-24 months of comparable retail experience including cash handling, math skills, and store maintenance

  • Ability to operate and use computers and cash register

  • Must have exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Ability to multitask and organize

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

  • Ability to move about between work spaces freely including all brewery, retail, and office areas

  • Ability to operate POS system

  • Must be able to reach to grab merchandise, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
