Mark IV Enterprises Seasonal Housekeeper in Rochester, New York

Love to clean? Mark IV Enterprises is hiring Seasonal Housekeepers to work through the busy spring and summer seasons. Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness and overall upkeep of common areas within the property, as well as ensuring apartments and townhomes are clean and sparkling for our new residents. This position offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling.

Two positions available. Locations are:

Corn Hill Apartments and Corn Hill Landing

  • OR -

300 Alexander and 625 South Goodman

Essential Duties:

  • Clean and maintain the common areas such as hallways and stairwells, offices, fitness centers, etc.

  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces in common areas

  • Clean and sanitize laundry rooms, fitness centers, and other shared facilities

  • Assist in the preparation of vacant apartments

  • Report to the property manager any common area maintenance issues or repairs needed

  • Manage cleaning supply stock levels and notify property manager when supplies are low

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in residential cleaning

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to utilize mobile device applications for work orders

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment

  • Polite disposition and positive attitude

    Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner, preferably in a residential or hospitality environment

    Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking

  • Must be physically able to reach, bend and stoop. May need to climb ladders.

  • Ability to work in the heat

  • Must be able to lift up or move to 50 pounds at a time

  • Valid NYS Driver's License and reliable transportation

The pay range for this role is $18.00 - 20.00 per hour. This is the range that we, in good faith, believe is the range of possible compensation for the role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
