Town of Irondequoit Seasonal Laborer (Multiple Locations) in Rochester, New York
TITLE: Seasonal Laborer (Multiple Vacancies) SALARY: $ 15.30 per hour LOCATION: Public Works (May be assigned to various town locations)
JOB SUMMARY: This is an entry-level unskilled position involving a variety of routine heavy and light manual labor tasks. The job requires physical endurance, will assist in construction, patching roads, installing or repairing sidewalks, planting and pruning trees, cutting grass, digging and refilling trenches for sewer or storm lines and loading and unloading trucks. Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age. There are no training and experience qualifications. Possession of a valid New York State Drivers License. This position requires physical endurance and good physical health. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have good interpersonal skills.
