Detailed Job Description:

Provide programmatic support to the entire Outreach Consortium including the Senior Director, Associate Directors, and Assistant Directors.
Responsible for continuing communications with external population to market programs and complete all registration paperwork and assist with conducting outreach to encourage participation.
Assist Senior and Associate Directors in maintaining data collection and tracking for the purpose of evaluating impact of programs on enrollment pipeline and retention.
Set up all registration systems for programs in Outreach database. Track details in database and outcomes in reporting formats for analysis. Work with TIS programmers to decide on updates and/or changes requested by Outreach and their priority. Participate in ongoing monitoring and database development/management to ensure data integrity and clarity.
Reconcile monthly and year end budgets (4 separate department and 18 budget areas to manage); post journal entries into Oracle; process payments for program fees; reconciliation of monthly pro-card statements; manage travel arrangements and process reimbursements. Create invoices to Vocational Rehabilitation offices for program fees.
Manage solicitation for bids and participate in negotiations for services/supplies. Create purchase requisitions for all programs.
Assist Associate and Assistant Directors with logistics for outreach events (reservations, confirmations, ordering of meals and refreshments, travel arrangements for access services). Work with sales and catering managers to negotiate and decide on costs and logistics. Analyze all program needs in order to estimate needs and request pro-card increases. Assist with all day-of-event on-campus programs execution.
Manage registration of students for Outreach programs utilizing databases. Review and decide summer program applicants' status for acceptance to programs based on transcripts and audiograms.
Oversee front office and interview, hire, train and manage student desk assistants and other student employees. Process faculty and staff contracts, and paperwork for hiring students.
Coordinate mailings for program marketing; coordinate VR and other billings for Outreach programs.
Manage purchasing, assembling and shipping of supplies and activity kits for Outreach programs.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Associates' degree in Human and/or Social Services, Education, Business, Communication or related field or equivalent experience
2 - 5 years of related experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, telecommunication mannerisms and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, working memory of work-related details and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently

American Sign Language skills or willingness to learn in order to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of prospective deaf and hard of hearing students and deaf/hard of hearing and hearing individuals
The NTID Outreach Consortium is responsible for the establishment and operation of educational activities designed to build up NTID's pipeline of prospective deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) students and to share NTID resources externally. The primary purpose of the Consortium is to offer various training and educational programs, workshops, and technical assistance to address the educational, transitional and professional development needs of secondary DHH students and their families, educators, and other professionals working with such students.
The Outreach Consortium provides approximately 15 - 20 programs annually serving over 1,000 prospective secondary DHH students and their families, and over 250 educators and other professionals.
The NTID Outreach Consortium works in partnership with multiple departments and programs within and outside of NTID including but not limited to: NTID Regional STEM Center, NTID Admissions, NTID Office of External Affairs, NTID Academic Affairs, RIT K-12 Programs, and state vocational rehabilitation agencies to achieve program goals.
