Job Title: RIEB Coordinator

Job Description: AFRL/RIEB Mission Technical Support (FFP): Provide technical and administrative support to the AFRL/RIEB computer networks, systems, software, administrations, and support activities.


  • Maintain systems on the DREN assigned subnets as an alternate on designated DREN subnets.

    Evaluate, respond and update systems based on security and virus updates.

    Integrate new systems into the baselined computer facility.

    Perform all system changes when a system is removed from the environment.

    Serve as Software License Manager (SLM) for the Unclassified AFRL/RIEB computer assets.

  • Act as assistant Laboratory Facility Manager for the AFRL/RIE Integrated Intelligence Innovation Facility (I3F). Serve as focal point for all user, management, and external interaction for all facility level activities for AFRL/RIEB & AFRL/RIE. Oversee and lead interaction with AFRL/RIO support staff for all electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and facility changes. Act as POC between the facility and building manager on all physical, safety and information issues. Note: There is a Government POC for all actions requiring Government personnel. Perform as tool Custodian for five (5) tool kits- maintain oversight, control and perform all accountability activities to assure this working computer laboratory has the tools required to maintain operations. Coordinate with key system administrators to assure tools are available and controlled, and maintain compliance with the tool control process. Maintain reviews, recommend changes and tracks coordination of all facility level guidance and procedures for the I3F. Provide necessary documentation and notification for any action taken.

Qualifications: Provide familiarization and training for new members on proper tool access, documentation and compliance. Provide I3F specific familiarization for Government primary tool custodians from turnover / new appointees on the specifics on the facility, processes and programs.Serve as coordinator and primary focal point for Integrated Intelligence Innovation Facility (I3F) change and modification with AFRL/RIEB programs in I3F, interface with AFRL/RIE and AFRL/RIEB management for coordination and approval, monitor and reporting of progress, issues and facility concerns. Lead collection of programmatic requirements requiring changes within the I3F facility, identify key players in determining options, develop initial approaches to address proposed changes, and after Government approval, maintain communication with all parties to assure personnel (facility, programs, and management) are provided status on progress. Serve as Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) deputy representative for I3F. Act as primary ESD representative when Government turnover occurs. Train/familiarize new Government appointees on ESD within the I3F facility. Conduct activities to maintain compliance and coordinate with the Government and contractors for the programs within the I3F. Provide DREN support to AFRL/RIEB computer systems inside and outside the I3F. Provide full-spectrum IA/IT support to the organization, the facility and customers. Provide immediate reaction and continuous awareness/communication of outages and degradations. Provide timely communication with customers and staff (updates, training, feedback, troubleshooting). Provides support in all areas of project requirements.

Certifications Required: Security+, Windows 10

Education: Bachelor-s degree, Education requirement may be waived for exceptionally qualified personnel.

Year-s Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience

Travel: 10%

Security Clearance Required: must have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
