Job Title: Software Programmer
Job Description: AFRL/RIF Application Development, Testing, Integration and Support (FFP): Provide technical support to AFRL/RIFS application and support activities.
Support the current systems for data interfacing, validating, and merging of extracted information from Standard Systems for local users. Standard Systems include but are not limited to General Accounting and Financing System (GAFS/BQ), Access On-Line (AxOL), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Defense Travel System (DTS), Financial Systems Transformation (FST) (KofaxEphesoft), Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRs) and Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS). Provide for the integration, data extraction or interfacing of other systems that include, but are not limited to: GAFS II Modernization (G2M), Conwrite, ConDATA, CON-IT, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Procurement Guidance (DARPA PG), DEAMS and Civilian and Military personnel data.
Maintain and support the additions of tables and enhancements as required to support the Web Executive Information System (WebEIS). Management Information Systems (MIS) Support. Provide development, maintenance and user support of the Web Information Tool (WIT) financial management tool. Perform code changes to respond to business requirements. Perform data changes as requested. These changes may be to multiple records that are accomplished by scripts or may be one time changes due to a process failure or a system change. Support WIT by assisting users with questions or reviewing coded rules to allow them to accomplish task(s). Investigate and implement interfaces between WIT and Standard Systems. Modify existing and develop new scripts as required by the Government. RRS Travel Orders DTS Front End - Make necessary changes, troubleshoot user problems for system operation. Support the Travel Order system that interfaces with WIT. Standard Systems Interfacing Support - Support external interfaces and related files for (Civ/Mil Desire).
Qualifications: CCaRs - Provide support (but not be limited to) for keystroking contractual and financial data, data reconciliation support, familiarity with accounting terms. Provide day-to-day CCaR maintenance. Support other functions and applications including, but not limited to: DARPA PG, AFRL/RIK Workload, Working Job Order Number (JON) automation, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) log, Suspense Tracker/Workflow, DEAMS, Statement of Capabilities/Director-s Visibility Data (SOC/DVD), Work Order System, Gross Outstanding Orders (GOO), Out-Processing and In- house funds. Other features include a web-based interface and supporting code in Oracle and in UNIX files. All features require support to create, maintain, and support them. This support includes UNIX, Oracle, other tools from AF and/or AFRL (i.e. intelligent Business Processes Management System (iBPMS) products), and data knowledge. Provide CCAR support updates within a day of receipt. Provide immediate reaction and continuous awareness/communication of application errors/user issues. Provide timely communication with customers and staff (updates, training, feedback, troubleshooting). Provides support in all areas of project required.
Certifications Required: Security+, Programmer
Education: Bachelor-s degree, Education requirement may be waived for exceptionally qualified personnel.
Year-s Experience: 3 - 6 years of experience
Security Clearance Required: must have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
