Job Title: VOIP Administrator
Job Description: Unified Communication (UC) Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)-Voice capability (T&M): Provide all O&M, and administration of existing Unified communications, E911, and other voice system products at AFRL RRS and Stockbridge and Newport test sites IAW all OEM technical and administrative documentation, Air Force technical orders and instructions and local policies and procedures.
Responsibilities: Be responsible for the technical management, administration, design, security, implementation, and support of telecom technologies, unified communication systems for AFRL/RI and unclassed local area networks. Provide technical support for AFRL/RIOS with authorized vendor and installation contractors in the design, engineer and implementation involving the UC. Examples being fully integrated test plans, integrated master schedules for installation and deployments. Perform final validation and go/no-go testing of the to-be UC/Voice capability prior to production system activation and cutover. Perform continuous tuning of the UC, optimizing support strategies and system updates, trend analysis for billing and reporting, and triage of incidents and alerts to the appropriate Telecommunication Liaisons and CSTs. Recommend advanced approved UC system capabilities to support the AFRL/RI Scientists and Engineers (S&Es) collaborations capabilities in order to increase communications and mission fidelity. Perform continuous reporting and notification through automated feeds or dashboards, of the overall health and security status of the unclassed local area networks UC. Provide O&M support as well as assist with creating and performing end user training for UC features and capabilities at AFRL/RI. Perform as the primary liaison to AFNET and headquarters for any downward directed activities. In addition, perform as the alternate liaison for commercial Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) or Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) issues. Administration and maintenance of the Enterprise e911 system at AFRL/RI. Research, implement and maintain an understanding of current and new technology as it pertains to the design and integration of new products or capabilities into the current and future environment. Create, update, review, and manage baseline voice communications project drawings and documentation for all managed projects to include but not limited to MS Visio, MS Project, and Adobe Pro for mark-ups and comments. Provide support for IP telephones, soft clients, licensing, logs, Solar Winds Integration. Provide support for IP VoIP phones & Software UC Client.
Qualifications: Enable real-time voice, video, and instant messaging communications for end-users. Software Client shall support Microsoft Windows 10, Apple, Macintosh 10.x, Android and iOS clients. Provide support for UC services Call Control, Unified Call Manager, Instant Messaging (IM) & Presence Service, WebEx, Conferencing, and Integrated Service Router. Develop and maintain System Security Plans, Security Compliance Traceability Matrix, Security Test Plans, and Plan of Action & Milestones. Provide full-spectrum UC support to the organization and customers. Provide immediate reaction and continuous awareness/communication of outages and degradations. Provide timely communication with customers and staff (updates, training, feedback, troubleshooting). Provides support in all areas of project requirements.
Certifications Required: Security+, CCNA (E) or Server Certificate
Education: Bachelor-s degree, Education requirement may be waived for exceptionally qualified personnel.

Security Clearance Required: must have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
