The Role: The Master Data Management System Administrator is a key role in Xylem’s data transformation strategy. The systems administrator manages the operations of the systems application related to Master Data Management in a SaaS environment. The administrator demonstrates an understanding of how software behaves in order to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems as it relates to Master Data Management. Additionally, the administrator researches new technologies and leverages optimization techniques to ensure that systems operate efficiently.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Facilitate and support secure and reliable flow (Integrations) of data between internal systems and 3rd party applications / tools including ERP, SFDC and others.
Develop and deliver MDM and IDQ (Informatica Master Data Management and Data Quality) components, as specified in the design, functional and non-functional requirements.
Leverage subject matter expertise to analyze and troubleshoot moderately complex system/user issues to drive resolution and determine root cause.
IDQ and MDM admin activities, including creating connections, setting up connection parameters and deploying folders, xmls, scripts etc based on the migration instructions.
Assist integration team to support secure and reliable flow of data between internal systems and 3rd party applications / tools including ERP, SFDC and others.
Work with the Solution Architect and third-party SMEs to define the Solution architecture and Solution Design.
Work with the Project Manager to define Project deliverables and schedules.
Participate in solution testing efforts by supporting integration, UAT and downstream system testing.
Maintain the Integrity, security, and performance of MDM platform.
Bulk import of attributes and/or export of data as needed.
Provide meaningful and accurate estimations of project completion time based on provided business requirements.
Work with peers to appropriately coordinate and communicate activities in alignment with overall company and IT mission, vision, and values.
Works with third-party vendors and consultants on developing system-specific skills
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems, or related field
Experience with Informatica MDM highly preferred
SQL working knowledge required
Java working knowledge required
Strong logical and analytical thinker
Attention to detail
Ability to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions
Ability to anticipate risks and mitigate in the moment
Comfortable under high-stress and exhibits poise and focus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services)

Further, if the Company determines this role may be performed in or from Colorado, the minimum salary for this position is $115,000 plus bonus . Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
