Summerhill Estate Care LLC Plant Care Technicians in Sag Harbor, New York
Plant Care Technicians - 65 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/25-12/31/25.
Employer: Summerhill Estate Care LLC, 6 Shaw Road, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.
Duties: Perform basic plant care services at residential properties of company clients and at nursery facility located in Amagansett, NY. Fertilize trees, shrubs and lawns, perform soil remediation, root-feed, prune and trim trees and shrubs.
Must be able to lift 50lbs. Hours and schedule may fluctuate due to weather or business needs. Overtime hours will vary. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. On-the-job training will be provided. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. Work will be performed at various sites within Suffolk, Nassau, and Westchester Counties of NY from designated location: 6 Shaw Road, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.
No experience or education required. Employer will provide on the job training.
Work hours: Wed-Sun, 6:30am-6pm; 60 hours/week at $19.32-$26/hour. Possible overtime at $28.98-$39/hour. Must be willing to work on weekends.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59.00/day with receipts.
