This position is located at the New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS), St. Albans, New York, serving as the Automated Data Processing Applications Coordinator (ADPAC) for all information technology and equipment needs of the Telehealth/Telehealth HUB Programs within the Brooklyn, Manhattan and St. Albans campuses.

- Oversees the operations and activities of telehealth information technology (IT) and equipment support systems;
- Manages all clinical video teleconferencing (CVT) systems, Laptops workstation, telehealth equipment and peripherals;
- Responsible for various aspects of installing software and hardware systems, network configurations, system upgrades and management of all clinical teleconferencing systems (including scheduling videoconferencing calls);
- Resolves telehealth information technology incidents;
- Provides technical support of sophisticated telehealth equipment to include telemedicine carts and peripherals, tele-retinal cameras, digital stethoscopes, tablets, VA mobile applications, webcams, etc.;
- Coordinates work with other service lines as needed to support day-to-day operations;
- Reviews policies and procedures of the Telehealth Program and makes recommendations to support the functionality and daily maintenance of continuity of operations;
- Collects data from stakeholders to create reports and presentations;
- Provides in-service training to clinical and administrative staff members;
- Responsible for inventory management and acquisition support of all CVT and IT equipment;
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Driver's License Requirement: All applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license as this position requires travel to various community-based outpatient clinics, other VA Medical Center, Non-VA institutes, telehealth equipment users home and/or outreach clinics/events. AND

*Experience:* You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-9) in the Federal Service that has given me the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated work experience supporting the information technology applications, systems and/or equipment of an organization; provides technical assistance and answers questions and/or resolves issues to users; assists others with the use of computer/teleconferencing hardware and software; performs tracking and analyzing duties for the purpose of improving processes and identify problem areas; analyzing and preparing status reports; utilizing computers and applicable software and managing information systems. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week. OR
*Education:* Successful completion of three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education or doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) related this position and that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work of this position. This education must have been obtained at an accredited college or university. NOTE: If you select this option, you must submit a copy of your transcript with your application. Education cannot be credited without documentation. OR
*Combination:* Combinations of successfully completed progressively higher-level graduate education (beyond the second year/masters' level) and specialized experience, as described above, which meet the total experience requirements for this grade level. The education portion must include graduate courses that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. This education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. NOTE: If you select this option, you must submit a copy of your transcript with your application. Physical Requirements: Work is primarily sedentary, but may involve intermediate periods of walking, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, moving (up to 50 pounds) computer components and supplies, reaching, pulling, and working at a keyboard television/video telehealth monitors and equipment. Must be able to travel to outlying community-based outpatient clinics (CBOC), other VA/non-VA medical centers and/or institutes, users homes or outreach clinics/events.
Receiving Service Credit for Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. VA may offer newly-appointed Federal employee's credit for their job-related non-federal experience or active duty uniformed military service. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. Such credit must be requested and approved prior to the appointment date and is not guaranteed.
