  • Prepare meals for patients and prep items for later service

What has prepared me for this opportunity?

  • High school diploma with two or more years of cooking experience in reception-style setting, long-term care setting, or similar facility OR

  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts


This position would be at two of our large facilities located at 6301 Inducon Drive East in Sanborn, NY and 291 Elm Street in Buffalo, NY. You would not be required to travel within your shift but would be assigned a full shift at one of the two locations.

Position Hours:

This is a full-time position. Work shifts range between the hours of 6 AM - 6 PM.

  • Must have weekend and holiday availability (if your shift falls on a holiday, you will be paid time and a half).

  • If your shift falls on a holiday you will receive a floating holiday to use at a later date along with time and a half.

Horizon 2021 Recruitment Bonus Program

Eligible Hires and Payment Structure:

  • Full Time hires who begin work by September 30, 2021: will receive $300 after 30 days of continuously working and another $300 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $600.

  • Part Time hires who begin work as of September 30, 2021: will receive $150 after 30 days of continuously working and another $150 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $300.

  • Bonus will be paid according to the employee’s PT or FT status as of Dec. 31st
