Makes general repairs including plumbing, electrical, floor covering, painting, and seasonal needs.
Troubleshoots all building systems to proactively maintain building operations.
Coordinates with vendors and subcontractors.
Completes all appropriate paperwork.
Takes direction from the Property Manager on issues concerning property management and maintenance.
Manages productivity and daily job responsibilities.
Performs cleaning, repairing, maintaining, constructing, renovating, demolishing, and moving building systems as needed. Ensures that the building meets all appropriate compliance.
Observes universal precautions, uses personal protective equipment, and follows all OSHA, DOH, and building regulations.
Performs regulatory building audits and inspections; maintains reports and tracking systems to provide a safe and healthy environment for all patients and staff.
Manages a preventative maintenance program for building systems.
Provides oversight of all exterior property conditions.
Recognizes that additional duties may be required but are not limited to the following: renovation projects including alterations of walls, carpentry, drywall, electrical, doors, ceilings, plumbing, floor covering, and paint.
Communicates effectively and prioritizes tasks.
Navigates and utilizes a computer-based work order system.
Is physically able to lift 50+ pounds.
Side Note: You must possess a clean NYS driver’s license and have reliable transportation to travel locally on a regular basis.

This position is located at our Horizon Village Campus at 6301 Inducon Drive East, Sanborn, NY 14132.
Full-time, Monday through Friday from 1 PM - 10 PM.

Horizon 2021 Recruitment Bonus Program
Eligible Hires and Payment Structure:
Full Time hires who begin work by September 30, 2021: will receive $300 after 30 days of continuously working and another $300 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $600.
Part Time hires who begin work as of September 30, 2021: will receive $150 after 30 days of continuously working and another $150 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $300.
Bonus will be paid according to the employee’s PT or FT status as of Dec. 31st
