House of Blues Security Guard in Saratoga Springs, New York

Job Summary:

THE JOB

We are seeking Security Guards for the 2024 season. These guards will guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment as guests enter and exit the venue.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Provide safety and security of Guests, Employees, and Assets.

  • Conduct patrols of the venue on a regular basis. Respond to all security & safety related calls in a timely manner. Exhibit exemplary conduct & appearance while on duty.

  • Comply with & adhere to all the department’s performance, conduct & attendance standards.

  • Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure.

  • Other duties as assigned by Security supervisors or Security manager.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Must have Current and Valid NYS Security License before the start of the season.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Viable transportation to and from the venue.

  • Ability to interact effectively and calmly with guests.

  • Position requires constant standing, walking, and moving throughout the venue.

  • Availability for night and weekend shifts from May through September.
