POSITION OVERVIEW
Clinician - Day Education
Sign On Bonus - $2,500
Full time, 40 hour work schedule that follows the school calendar which includes a mandatory 6-week summer program.
Salary Range $24.04/hour - $28.85/hour
Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing clinical and IEP mandated services to Day Education and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assess individuals and family situations with a focus on school success
Identify problem areas, treatment goals, and methods to attain goal leading to improved performance at school
Assist school personnel when behavioral situations occur involving students on your caseload
Work with the education team and local school district to develop a comprehensive Individual Education Plan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and family.
Provide therapeutic services to child and family using differential modalities
Work with interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive treatment pan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and family
Work with referring and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence as needed
Record and maintain case record in accordance with agency OCFS, DOE, and other states mandates
Participate in intake assessments as assigned

Education and/or Experience
Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
Certification / Licensure
NYS Licensure Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP
NYS drivers License
