HGP: PRODUCTION LABORER Classification: nonexempt Wage: $18.50 / hr.

We are looking for applicants who can work 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10 PM or 3 PM to 11 PM. During first month all new hires will have to work first shift for the job training and safety training before they can go on their regular 2nd shift.

Job Description: The general laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at a secondary metal processing manufacturing environment. HGP: PRODUCTION LABORER Essential Duties: 1. Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor 2. Loads and unloads material to the multiple furnaces 3. Operate Forklift/ Tow motors 4. Screen materials 5. Shovels materials 6. Maintain a clean and safe work area, wear proper PPE as required & supplied 7. Ensures proper safety and follows all safety rules 8. Read, understand/comprehends MSDS/SDS 9. Measure samples HPO: PRODUCTION LABORER Essential Duties: 1. Load material into kettle to dissolves material into Acid 2. Precipitates metal and add certain chemicals during the process 3. Filtering material and pumping material ( Filtration process ) 4. Labeling 5. Maintain a clean and safe work area, wear proper PPE as required & supplied 6. Ensures proper safety and follows all safety rules 7. Read, understand/comprehends MSDS/SDS

Competencies & Skills required: 1. Teamwork Orientation 2. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. 3. Basic math skills 4. Basic reading & writing skills 5. Ability to work independently 6. Comfortable working with Acids such as Hydrochloric Acid, Nitric Acid and also Aqua Ammonia Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The temperature level in the work environment can be hot during summer.

Physical Demands:

The physical demand described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use respirators. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use earplugs or earmuffs. The position involves walking and standing for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor, sometimes under adverse environment. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi limb coordination. Use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must have good stamina. Clean Shaven

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday. 40 Hrs per week. The employee must able to work all shifts as needed and able to work overtime as needed.
