Food Preparation Worker - 2 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/2022-10/31/2022 Employer: Shinnecock Hills Golf Club 200 Tuckahoe Rd Southampton NY 11968. Duties: Washes, peels, cuts, such foods as meats, fruits, vegetables, seafood. Prepare salads, bread. Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized. Mop floors. Takes garbage out to dumpsters. No education or experience required. Work days: Days vary Mon-Sun, rotating shifts from 8am-10pm, 40 hours/week at $18.00/hour. OT possible up to 10 hours/wk at $27.00/hour when available. Must work weekends and holidays. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Optional employer-provided housing with utilities available at no cost to the employee. Company specific uniforms will be provided and laundered/maintained by the employer. Work tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to worker. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
