Description
The Department of Biology at St. Bonaventure University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor or Lecturer position, beginning Fall 2024 with the potential for renewal. The ideal candidate for this position is intrinsically motivated to teach undergraduate students in classroom and instructional laboratory settings. Teaching responsibilities will include our general biology lectures and labs for non-science majors and potentially contributing to our anatomy and physiology courses for life science and health science majors.
Typical Qualifications
Applicants with a Ph.D. in biology or a closely related field will qualify for the Visiting Assistant Professor rank and candidates with a master’s degree or who are A.B.D. in biology or a closely related field will be considered for a Lecturer position. Teaching experience is desirable. Research facilities are available, and candidates will be welcome to mentor undergraduate research projects if they wish.
