THE VENUE
Legends is the official food and beverage partner of the Ballpark at St. George, a world-class sports and entertainment venue located in Staten Island adjacent to the iconic Staten Island Ferry with magnificent views of New York Harbor. The venue will be a year-round sport and entertainment complex anchored by the Staten Island FerryHawks, a professional baseball team playing in the Atlantic League. The partnership includes overseeing the venue’s food and beverage program development and management for concessions, suites, and premium areas for all game days. THE ROLE
Cashiers are responsible for timely, efficient, and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting. Additionally, cashiers will also be responsible for setting-up, maintaining and cleaning their workstation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the delivery of all orders taken
Practice good standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality
Responsible for securing payment for all transactions taken
Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality

Provide exceptional customer service at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least one (1) year cashier experience or three months experience in a high-volume facility
Strong attention to detail and extremely organized with elevated time management and prioritizing skills
Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-orientated setting
Must be able to effectively communicate with management and staff
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds up and down stairs
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
