EDPR North America LLC Fall Internship - DG Marketing in Staten Island, New York

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Distributed Generation, a part of EDP Renewables North America, is looking for a Marketing summer associate.

This is a 12-week full-time and paid internship that will start on or around June 7, 2021.

Main accountabilities:

Collaborate on content creation for marketing collateral and PPT decks

Assist in pulling together marketing editorial calendars

Drafting press releases and media advisories

Tracking media inquiries

Social media content creation and post scheduling

Input contacts in CRM/data management tool

Assist in conference planning and onsite team business development scheduling

Minimum qualifications:

Current undergraduate (Junior or Senior) or graduate student

Excellent marketing and research skills

Past experience with and interest in renewable energy, marketing, PR and communications

Advanced Excel functionality

Excellent writing and communication skills - you are responsive and work well with others

Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.

Competency in Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment

Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form

Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds

Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form

Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
