The Mount Sinai Health System Neonatology Physician - Richmond University Medical Center - Staten Island, NY in Staten Island, New York

Richmond University Medical Center seeks a Neonatologist to be part of the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

Richmond University Medical Center operates a 25 bassinet Neonatal Intensive Care, Intermediate Care and Continuing Care NICU Service Line. The Program provides the highest level of care for newborns and pre-mature infants as low as 1.5 pounds. This mature Program has a consistent record of excellent survivorship outcomes up to 99.7%.

The Neonatologist will become part of the Team that supports the Mother / Baby Service Line with almost 4,000 births annually. The Neonatologist can expect to work with a seasoned team of other neonatologists, professional registered nurses and physician assistants. The successful candidate must be detail oriented with attention to detail for these at risk infants. The Pediatric Residency Program offers teaching, academic & research opportunities.

Richmond University Medical Center recently entered into a broad clinical affiliation with Mount Sinai Health System. This affiliation will provide the neonatologist with collaborative opportunities and, potentially, clinical and academic appointments with Mount Sinai’s internationally acclaimed patient care, research and education programs.

Position Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University

  • Graduate of a Neonatology Fellowship

  • New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented,

performance-driven environment
