Kforce Administrative Assistant in Syosset, New York

Kforce's client, a Long Island, NY based CPA firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with the administrative functions and provide support to Partner and Principals. They will also perform customer service functions, answering phones and questions. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, high energy fun practice with a nice culture and work life balance (this is not a remote role).Duties: * Administrative Assistant will be responsible to provide support to primary Partners and Principals assisting with billing, scheduling meetings, calendar management, and travel arrangements; Processing financial statements and formatting documents for various engagements prepares; Contact Data Sheets for new clients, client address/name changes, etc. * File maintenance including Scanning and copying * As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide back-up support to Front Desk Coordinator * Assist with mailings and may run errand to the bank and various clients * Assists IT with conference room setups for video conferences and floater setups * Administrative Assistants assist tax processing department during busy seasons * 5 years of administrative or equivalent related experience, preferably with a CPA or professional services firm * Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills * Organized and has the ability to multitask with attention to detail * Strong computer skills are a must with willingness to learn new software as needed, including proficient with Microsoft Office and company programs Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
