Job Description

Position Summary:

Position responsible for increasing velocity of brands in a set universe of accounts within a specific geography. Incumbent builds relationships with account level key influencers & decision makers and is responsible for sell-in of strategic initiatives at key accounts. The position focuses on getting the PRUSA portfolio of brands in the best position to be ordered by consumers – this includes educating staff, developing marketing initiatives (features), and utilizing all resources to build brand affinity in their respective geography.

Responsibilities:

Improve merchandising and visibility of brands in accounts, including back bar placement and POS utilization

Identify each account’s velocity drivers and ensure PRUSA brands are included in the key velocity drivers

Educate Account Staff on key items with particular emphasis on new items as they are sold in

Identify account opportunities/distribution gaps and initiate the sell in of new items

Responsible for selling-in and in some cases executing strategic initiatives at key accounts

Responsible for menu and promotional tracking of PRUSA and competitive brands

Responsible for performing surveys during account visits (Briefcase)

Schedule and administer on site product promotions and signage

Builds relationships with key account gatekeepers (owners, bartenders, customers) and conducts staff trainings to build brand loyalty and knowledge

Monitors and maintains up-to-date awareness on product information, company initiatives and promotions, advertising, and industry trends

Develops account detailed “Call List” with key contact and call schedule

Responsible for daily Pre-Plan of activities and daily/weekly recap of results and accomplishments to team manager

Manage robust budget, taking time to evaluate ROI’s and communicating successes/learnings

Proposes new ideas/methods on how to improve performance, maintains a positive, can-do attitude and influences others to gain support for an idea or cause

Responsible for product distribution and placement in conjunction with SWS sales team

Works closely with sales team to achieve PRUSA strategic goals and implement initiatives, innovations and programs

Collaborate and communicate store level plans with brand agents, Sales People, PRUSA MM’s, and Sales Mgmt. to ensure proper resource allocation

Work flexible hours which include early morning (i.e. 4:00a.m. -6:00a.m. start times), evenings, and/or weekends. Overnight travel as required. Additional hours required during peak season of October, November and December and June and in accordance with the event schedule.

Perform other work related duties and special projects as assigned.

Be aware of federal, State and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry with account responsibility.

Project a positive, professional image at all times.

Ability to use and understand Supplier specific application.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or related field

Comprehensive understanding of spirits to include regions/varietals, product/food pairing techniques, basic production and service.

2 - 5 years of industry experience.

Ability to communicate with enthusiasm for the product and category.

Capable of managing multiple projects on tight deadlines and maintaining high level of quality output.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state registration and insurance and an acceptable driving record.

Lift and carry 45+ pound case of product on an occasional basis.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
