Syracuse University Catering Production Supervisor in Syracuse, New York
Responsible for managing inventory and analyzing food costs for Catering and satellite locations. Must maintain cleanliness of kitchen and delegate cleaning tasks. Establish daily meetings with kitchen staff and provide training on new techniques. Work with head chef to prepare production sheets. Responsible for maintaining storage areas including freezers, storerooms and all refrigerated areas. Coordination of kitchen staff scheduling and arranging for additional help for event coverage. Other duties include working campus catered events, supervising daily operation of the kitchen, food ordering for catered events, working with purchasing agents to maintain warehouse stock of catering items and work with event manager to develop and maintain standard and seasonal menus.
