Syracuse University Director of External Relations, Strategy, and Operations in Syracuse, New York
The Director of External Relations, Strategy, and Operations will report to the Assistant Dean for Advancement and External Engagement within the Whitman School of Management. The candidate serves in a senior leadership role and is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading all operational processes and systems to optimize external strategy, fundraising, and relationship building efforts for the Advancement and External Engagement team at the Whitman School of Management. This individual will partner with senior leaders & staff and lead across all functions to drive collaboration, cross-functional clarity and alignment, and will manage all development processes to create a modern, high functioning and innovative advancement operation while serving as a strategic-thinker who translates big-picture external vision to implementable operational plans.
A seasoned and dynamic administrator, this person plays a significant role in the team's success in meeting its overall strategy and goals through implementing and executing systems that will enable large scale fundraising campaigns and operations, as well as creating and maintaining processes that ensure the successful and effective implementation of the department's annual, major gift, communications, and engagement plans.
