Syracuse Regional Airport Authority Engineering Intern- Temp Full Time in Syracuse, New York
Are you a college student with a focus on engineering, looking to get paid while gaining knowledge and skills that will help contribute to your future in engineering or related fields? The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA), operator of the Syracuse Hancock International Airport has an exciting opportunity for a college student minimally entering sophomore year studying engineering or related field to join our team for the Summer of 2024. During this 10-week duration, the position allows for the opportunity to work on projects in the following areas:Archiving and scanning paper drawings to PDF for inventory.Assisting project team on projects.Correspondence as needed.Attending project meetings for exposure and learning. Program Start Date: Monday, June 3, 2024Program End Date: Friday, August 9, 2024Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am- 3pm, 36.25 hours per weekRequirementsMust be a college student minimally entering sophomore year studying engineering or related field. Driven, hard-working, reliable, and has the desire to learn. Previous computer experience, preferably in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Special RequirementsMust obtain and maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance.*Any offer of employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment background check and security clearance.
