Syracuse University Part-Time Faculty: CHE 325 Organic Chemistry II Summer 2024 in Syracuse, New York
The Chemistry Department is seeking a part-time instructor to teach CHE 325 Organic Chemistry II Lecture, July 1, 2024 – August 9, 2024. The class meets in person Monday-Thursday 10:00am-11:45am. The course’s structure and material are the same as a traditional semester but in an accelerated timeline. Topics include an emphasis on reaction and mechanism in organic chemistry, multi-step synthesis, and structural analysis.
The instructor will be supported by being provided syllabus templates and assistance related to exam preparation and assignments. Office staff aid with class logistics and student organization. The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department.
