Robert Half International Receptionist in SYRACUSE, New York

A position is available for a well-spoken and experienced Receptionist at a developing company OfficeTeam has partnered with. This role allows the applicant to learn new skills while furthering their career at a company that scored high among past employees. A temporary-to-full-time Receptionist position, offered on a long-term basis, is currently available at a company based in the Syracuse, New York area. Must be able to work 8am-5pm M-F AND during tax season M-TH 8am-8pm Fri and Sat 8am-5pm with no vacation time (No exceptions)
Your responsibilities in this role
Route all incoming phone calls to the appropriate individuals
Perpetuate a number of different office filing processes and offer general office filing support
Maintain various office files and provide general office filing support
Organize, review, and allocate incoming mail according to specified procedures
Put in orders for office supplies
Be a welcoming presence for visitors
Help out other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks
Have strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
achievement oriented, smart, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy
Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Proficiency in data entry
Customer service experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word experience required
Incoming phone call management skills desired
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
