Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Recruiter, University Relations in Tarrytown, New York

Responsible for managing key relationships and executing the university relations strategies at core schools particularly within specialized recruiting for early career and rotational programs. Coordination with Talent Development and science education on curriculum and program development. Assists with building the relationships with key personnel, identifying and driving unique events and marketing. Plans and executes attraction activities as well as oversees on-site events and programs, maintaining continuous improvement and best practices. Partners with HR specialty areas, business leaders to develop delivery models that position Regeneron as an employer of choice in bringing innovative and novel medicine to patients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Change agent, with proven experience as a university relations subject matter professional, with a sound understanding of the university recruiting and event planning process.

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with external campus stakeholders (professors, faculty and deans, corporate relations leaders, professional associations, staff of academic departments, student interest and diversity organizations, alumni and career center staff) of Regeneron’s key account campuses and programs.

  • Identify future long-term strategies to promote company brand and drive functional hiring trends that align with company growth initiatives.

  • Partner with HR team members, Corporate Communications and Business leaders to implement employer brand awareness in target functional areas for rotational program entry level talent markets; collaborate with Program Coordinators to plan campus recruiting plans and execution; identify potential program centric on-campus development, networking and branding activities.

  • Partner with branding team to assist with the development of content internal and external sites and social media platforms.

  • Conduct continual research, analysis and recommendations for key accounts and events that will provide targeted and measurable ROI.

  • Actively build campus teams based on strategic intelligence, identifying the right Regeneron associates for outreach and activities; train associates and provide guidance on recruiting issues.

  • Assist with traditional campus recruiting execution in collaboration with other U.R. associates.

  • To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and proven and progressive within university/college recruitment and program management.

  • Proven and progressive relevant HR experience required; Preferably 3-5+ years’ experience related to staffing and university/college recruiting

  • Proven experience in executing campus recruiting initiatives including recruiting for internship and rotational programs aw well as early talent.

  • Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships with internal and external senior leaders and collaborating and building relationships across functional and organizational lines

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including strategies of recruiting, managing candidates and programs

  • Must have a passion for delivering quality experiences for internal customers and stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to execute projects from start to finish

  • Ability to navigate and influence direction in an unchartered environment

  • Flexible and adaptable team player who can adapt easily to change

  • Drive and initiative to go above and beyond to achieve goals while collaborating in a team environment with stakeholders at all management levels

  • Able to proactively share progress, risks, and recommendations while seeking guidance/ direction/ approval as necessary

  • Demonstrates strong time management, organization, prioritization, critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Must be able travel up to 50% of the time in peak season
