Our client is a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company and they are hiring a Tax Preparer to join their Tarrytown Team. As a Tax Preparer you will prepare tax returns for high net worth individuals. If you have a CPA or MBA and experience working with Prosystem Fx Tax, BNA Tax Planner, Creative Solutions Accounting then this is the role for you.

salary: $22 - $23 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Masters

Responsibilities

As a Tax Preparer, Job duties include:

• Prepare basic federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals (including gift and estate taxes), partnerships, trusts and foundations.

• Prepare quarterly and year-end income tax projections and estimated tax vouchers.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.

• Assist with special accounting projects and administrative duties.

• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.

• Research various tax matters and report findings.

Skills:

• 2+ years working as a Tax preparer for a Wealth Management or Financial Organization.

• Experience with Prosystem Fx Tax, BNA Tax Planner, Creative Solutions Accounting, and QuickBooks.

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends during busy seasons.

• Proven research and analytical skills.
