Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Hudson Valley is one of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system and serves nearly 9,000 students each year. Positions are with the Kids on Campus Summer Athletic Camps in the following areas: Advanced Golf, Adventure, All Sports, Basketball, Dodgeball, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, and Volleyball.

We are creating a qualified registry of applicants. A vacant position may not currently exist in each area.

TITLE: Assistant Coach

HV-KOC-AssistantCoach Sum24

Program Dates: July 2024, Salary is $275 per week (5 1/2 days), $550 per week (5 full days)

Minimum Qualifications: High School Graduate. Two years of participation in appropriate sport; prior experience working in a supervisory capacity with children, preferably in a camp setting.

Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily activities of children in the camp

• Assist in developing program content

• Responsible for the appropriate use of college equipment and facilities

• Work with other assistant coaches to provide a harmonious program

• Promote good sportsmanship

• Perform other duties as assigned
