Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities:

PCG is seeking highly motivated and dependable Quality Lead to supervise and manage Supports Intensity Scale assessors. Assessors will conduct Supports Intensity Scale – Adult Version™ (SIS-A)™ assessments with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities eligible to receive services from Vermont’s Home and Community Based Services waiver. The Quality Lead is responsible for monitoring the performance of assessors to ensure that assessments are completed properly and in accordance with established timelines. The Quality Lead will also receive training from the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) to become a recognized SIS assessor and SIS trainer. Once recognized a SIS Trainer, the Quality Lead will be responsible for training new SIS Interviewers as needed and ensuring current SIS assessors remain current with AAIDD training and recognition requirements.

Hours are Monday-Friday business hours but may include some evenings. Ideal candidates will have a human services background, specifically working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and will have worked in community environments, and/or relevant social work, therapist/counseling, or nursing advanced degree or licensure (MSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, RN, etc.).

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Attend SIS interviewer training and maintain recognition requirements.

  • Attend SIS train the trainer training and maintain recognition requirements.

  • Conduct SIS training as needed.

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of SIS assessors, including setting and managing schedules, time-off, and ensuring adequate coverage to meet SIS assessment contract requirements.

  • Monitor the performance of SIS assessors to ensure that assessments are completed properly and within contract established timelines.

  • Maintain relationship with AAIDD and coordinate with PCG’s Project Manager regarding AAIDD contract deliverables, invoices, and payments.

  • Monitor and manage annual SIS assessor training requirements so SIS assessors maintain recognition.

  • Attend stakeholder meetings as needed/required by the contract.

  • Other duties may be required to fulfill contract requirements.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized educational or psychological assessments.

  • Trained in Person-Centered Thinking and Practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and/or other online data entry.

  • Dedication to accomplishing goals and overcoming challenges.

  • Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity.

  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills.

  • Solid organization and time management skills.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.

  • At least one-year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Previous or current experience as a SIS assessor and/or trainer.

  • Experience with SISOnline.

  • Knowledge and experience with person-centered planning concepts.

  • Experience with Home and Community Based Services waivers preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel to Vermont as needed.

  • Must have reliable internet connection.

  • Must be comfortable and familiar with technology including the use of virtual meeting technology (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
