Parks and Recreation job description-
*This position is seasonal in nature and exists at several State Parks in the Long Island Region. The individual seeking this position must be at least 16 years of age, with working papers, to be considered. The employees assigned to this position will be asked to undertake a variety of tasks regarding the operation and basic maintenance of the facilities, structures, equipment, environment, administration and services of the State Parks in New York.
*A park and recreation aide will work under the supervision of a higher-level seasonal worker, park worker, park supervisor or facility manager. The tasks assigned will require the use of light, medium and heavy physical effort when cleaning and caring for the facility at which the employee is working.
