Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat, Hershey's Milk & Milkshakes and more.Job Summary:Improve the efficiency of supply chain operations by assisting in the management of production volume, customer ordering, capacity planning and overall inventory management for finished goods, packaging and ingredients. Deliver solutions as a contributing member of the Supply Chain Department by defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling supply chain processes. This position requires exceptional analytics skills, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills along with a positive, professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Analyze and manage network wide finished good & component inventory.- Provide mid to long term projections for components.- Act as liaison between plants, strategic sourcing, demand planning and other functional areas.- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.- Propose and implement solutions to support and improve supply chain visibility and optimization.- Monitor key performance indicators to facilitate continuous improvement and optimization in the supply planning process.- Work with demand planning team, supply planning team and other departments to identify trends, seasonality and other demand variations to plan for and mitigate supply risks.- Design and prepare complex reports to assist plant operations and other areas.- Participate in special projects that include research, analysis and presentation/recommendations as they pertain to Replenishment, Capacity Planning, Master Scheduling, Inventory control and supply chain optimization.- Support facilities through capacity planning processes; Review production line performance, scheduled downtime, end-to-end constraint mapping and warehouse capacity planning.- Hold and participate in regular meetings with facilities to review inventory levels, production performance and capacity.- Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.- Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.- Address supply-related issues in a timely and effective manner.Education and Experience:- BA/BS with 2-4 years of experience Preferred- Master's Degree Preferred- SAP APO/IBP Experience PreferredSkills and Competencies:- Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships- Excellent problem-solving skills- Strong interpersonal skills along with ability to succeed in team environment- Ability to work independently and drive processes to completion- Ability to think strategically and develop new techniques or approaches as dictated by the business- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an established ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group- Excellent MS Office skills.
