Robert Half International Logistics Clerk in VICTOR, New York
A client in the Real Estate - Other industry working with OfficeTeam is in need of a new Logistics Coordinator. The logistics clerk will be working with clients coordinating shipments. Additionally, you will perform a heavy amount of data entry and need to have customer service skills. In your role as the Logistics Clerk, the responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments is also important. Endorse freight bills and process bills of lading
Follow-up with carriers, as necessary
Monitor guidelines for approving carriers
Perform various administrative duties
Report and adjust with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes
Keep an eye on, trace, and maintain dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements
Customer service oriented communication skills
2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics
Ability to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials
Shipping & receiving experience
Strong familiarity with scanning
Data entry experience required
Excellent data entry skills
A candidate who can demonstrate experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions will be in the top tier of candidates for this job
