2 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 05/01/2023 - 10/31/2023.
General Duties: Manually prune plant, cultivate, & harvest vegetables & fruits. Pick fruit & vegetables during harvest such as apples, pears, peaches, plums, tomatoes, squash, and eggplant. Miscellaneous orchard work and upkeep including weeding and fertilization of crops, and suckering apple trees. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, & self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow & fertilize soil or to plant, cultivate, & harvest crops. Construct trellises; repair fences & farm buildings. Set up & operate irrigation equipment. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches. Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on a consistent basis throughout the day. While working in the field, all cell phone usage is limited to emergency use only. Due to health and safety concerns on a farm, worker must understand basic instructions in English.
Requirements: * Three months experience of the duties mentioned * Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds * Exposure to extreme temperatures * Extensive sitting/walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements
