We are hiring an Account Manager at GeekHive. The Account Manager will help our clients align their team, refine their strategy, and integrate their tools for the most effective customer engagement. The Account Manager will be responsible for helping to build the strategy while working with clients on ongoing projects to ensure they get the most out of the platform, and actively listening to customers to identify new ways to 'wow' our customers through both service and product improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain long term, trusted relationships with our clients

  • Broaden and support strategic planning with the client to include multiple business and technology areas

  • Establish and drive internal and customer based Quarterly Business Reviews, Remediation Plans and Steering Committees

  • Ensure long-term client satisfaction and referencability

  • Educate and drive adoption around GeekHive's full-service offerings, bringing in our key experts when necessary for demonstration or prototype purposes

  • Encourage and track ongoing and regular customer feedback

  • Build customer success philosophy and create a strategic account plan related to overall customer?s business objectives

  • Manage multi-level client stakeholder relationships within your portfolio of customers, which includes establishing trusted customer relationships and driving continued value

  • Act as the main GeekHive point of contact throughout the Customer?s entire lifecycle, identify new opportunities and deliverables, while leading and managing all things related to your account internally and externally

  • Account Leadership & Program Execution:

  • Work side by side with Program Delivery Management and Sales to develop quality level of effort estimates for client engagements

  • Provide leadership to the client and GeekHive teams during scoping to ensure our full-service offerings and resourcing have been discussed and considered in a meaningful way that brings value to both the client and GeekHive

  • Provide account-level oversight and guidance to day-to-day account delivery teams, ensuring teams meet and exceed client expectations

  • Be held accountable against Measurable Revenue/Profit Growth within set timelines for assigned accounts

  • With the Program Delivery Manager, develop and track high level project plans, milestones, project health, resource assignment accuracy, status and risks

  • Ensure account team utilizes best practices and methodologies

  • Maintain overall responsibility for maintaining scope of projects, including the development and processing of change orders

  • Ensure engagements within client portfolio achieve targeted profitability

  • Manage account revenue through aligning activities to strategic account plans and account growth

  • Accurately forecast and accountable against Measurable Revenue/Profit Growth within set timelines

    Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with account management, project management or client success including financial management of account programs and profitability.

  • College degree preferred.

  • The ability to understand the needs and pains of the customer and link them to GeekHive solutions.

  • The ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels within an organization.

  • A positive attitude, resilience and an ability to overcome objections with grace and confidence.

  • The ability to identify opportunities and creatively engage current clients.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
