We are hiring a UX/UI Design Intern to join our team at GeekHive! Reporting to a Principal Consultant, you will work with our design and development teams for internal and external projects.   • Collaborate cross-functionally to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

  • Facilitate client?s visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.

  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.

  • Develop design team assets such as style guide components.

  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design and data visualization experiences.

  • Work with cross functional teams to learn needs and vision of key business leaders to understand their business problems and enable optimized user experience.

  • Identify design problems and devise solutions.

  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

  • Support internal stakeholders with graphic design needs.


  • Understanding of and/or experience with Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or other UX design tools.

  • Understanding of platforms such as web traffic analytics, heatmaps, and voice of customers to inform UX/UI designs.

  • Understanding of graphic design principles for company collateral.

  • Great communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Experience using Google Suite, particularly Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides

  • Problem solver who exercises sound judgment in complex situations.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and varying assignments in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with others, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Superior commitment to serving others with empathy, timeliness, accuracy, thoroughness, and professionalism.

    About the Role:

    This is a seasonal position. The expected duration of the role is 6 months. At the end of the internship, depending on the needs of the business, you will be considered for a full time opportunity (if one exists).
