We are hiring a Vice President of Sales to join our Sales department at GeekHive. We are seeking a highly motivated leader with a proven track record as a top-performing individual contributor, builder and nurturer of relationships, strategic thinker, and revenue generator. The most desirable candidate has grown new and existing sales organizations, managed and mentored sales teams for optimal performance, and regularly crushed a quota; "hitting the number" is equivalent to failure for this consummate sales professional. This position will report to our CEO.
Lead and expand a successful sales organization driving strong revenue growth.
Commit to and deliver on aggressive sales targets.
Pipeline planning - Follow a focused approach to maintaining a rolling 4Q pipeline. Keep pipeline current. Collaborate with support organizations including Marketing, inside sales, Partners and channels to funnel pipeline into the assigned territory.
Accurate monthly forecasting of orders and revenue.
Create, foster, and lead a consistently high-performing sales team able to meet or exceed quarterly and annual profit targets and stretch goals.
Develop a play book and implement process to scale the business, on-board and quickly ramp new sales reps
Develop and implement annual strategic sales plans and budgets for targeted sustained growth according to GeekHive?s strategic revenue goals.
10 years sales leadership experience with a preference of go-to-market experience in Agency or Consulting services.
Deep expertise and experience working across the C-Suite both internally and externally, specifically at the CMO and CIOlevel.
Experience leading and closing large complex deals
Have experience hiring and recruiting top tier talent
Strong grasp of setting and executing growth strategies and tactics
Evaluating and adjusting performance of the team
Aligning sales objectives with GH business strategy
Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets to executive leadership on a timely basis.
In conjunction with senior leadership, develop sales ?go to market strategies? that drive profitable revenue across all channels of distribution
Influence the sales process, technology, administration, analytics, and other areas that impact sales results.
