Seasonal - Watkins Glen International (WGI) is currently searching for an enthusiastic individual to join the best team in motorsports, as a Seasonal Account Executive. This position will assist in the planning and development of a regional and local group sales strategy and initiatives for event related activities at WGI. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the sports and entertainment industry, with a focus on sales, marketing, and customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES .Answer incoming calls with the ability to upsell callers into packages, groups, and hospitality opportunities. .Extensive cold calling to potential group prospects on a daily basis (minimum of 50 outbound calls daily). .Provide excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS .Associate's degree (A.S.) preferred .Minimum of two years of customer service and sales experience .Strong verbal and written communication skills .Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point .Professional presentation and able to work with the public .Ability to work weekends
