We are currently hiring for motivated Environmental Services Team Lead for the Webster Campus. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with instruction of Housekeeping and laundry staff within Cherry Ridge according to established policies and procedures to assure that standards of sanitation, orderliness, efficiency, cleanliness, production, administration, safety and quality are filled. St. Ann's Community Offers: Year End Bonus Competitive Wages Dental, Health & Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (Employer Contribution) Tuition Reimbursement & Scholarship Opportunities Job Description: Lead the Housekeeping & laundry staff members at the Webster campus in performance of their duties; inspects completed work to ensure that it fulfills established standards. Instructs staff in methods and procedures, trains new employees and re-trains seasoned employees in new or revised procedures. Assists with the scheduling & will assign specific tasks according to priorities, adjusting as deemed necessary. Evaluate laundry chemical supplies & will contact vendors when necessary. Assigns and directs staff, issues or arranges for deployment of supplies and equipment, and controls locking and unlocking of key areas when access is required. Meets regularly with assigned staff, communicating current information on specific problems or areas of concern. Participates fully in customer service standards & assures staff members perform to these standards as well as the organizational Standards of Behavior. Will assist supervisor & make recommendations for hiring and terminating both Webster Housekeeping & laundry staff. Prepares appropriate reports, analyses and other documentation as required by the CR - ES & Laundry Supervisor. Responsible for efficient operation of Housekeeping & laundry at the Webster campus during operating hours. Works in any area of the building(s) when needed, performing the following (but not limited to) functions:special event set-up, mopping of floors, striping & waxing of floors, extracting & vacuuming carpets, emptying trash, dusting, cleaning resident rooms, cleaning offices & common areas (including restrooms). Will assist supervisor with preparing & offering input on Performance Appraisals for staff. Observes and reports conditions needing necessary adjustments. Will assist supervisor with departmental budgets, including capital, staff, & operating expenses; & will help maintain these budgets within organizational standards & goals Will assist supervisor with payroll approval for the Webster Housekeeping & laundry staff. Regularly deals with vendors regarding products & investigates areas for improvement under the auspicesof the CR - ES & Laundry Supervisor and Purchasing Manager. Assures that all staff members comply with mandatory in-services; investigates and coordinates additional training. Will work with the supervisor in creating routine inspections, and training programs. Works collaboratively with other departments to assure sectional standards. Perform linen inventories as required. Performs other duties as required by the CR - ES & Laundry Supervisor. Candidate requirements: High school degree or equivalent (GED) with two years supervisory experience.
