Job Title: Set Up Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Set Up Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines and handling materials within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Pipe Profiling Machines, Robotic Crane Arm, Plasma/Flame Cutting table, and the Tube plasma pipe cutter.

• Load, unload, and move materials around the facility using a forklift.

• Deburr parts as needed.

• Perform light troubleshooting of the machines if needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in CNC setup and operation.

• Proficiency in operating plasma cutting equipment.

• Experience with crane operation.

• Forklift operation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machines such as Vernon, Gantry, and Machitek.

• Minimum of 2 years of basic setup experience.

Work Environment

The position operates on the B Shift from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The work environment includes a semi-outdoor setting, where the warehouse doors are frequently open, making it warm in the summer and cold in the winter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Webster, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
