This position will be a part of our Power Division. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.Duties and Responsibilities- Project research, fieldwork, observation, and preliminary design calculations- Take personal responsibility for the quality of tasks performed- Uses CAD/PLSCAD to prepare and check working drawings, details, layouts, and estimates- Performs routine analysis to check the accuracy of data and work products Salary Range: $15.00-$25.00+ per hour depending on applicable experience*Required Skills- Electrical Engineering major (Junior, Senior, or Master's student)Required Experience- Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field- Growing knowledge of profession as demonstrated by involvement in related professional organizations and professional development programs- Basic knowledge of the firm's policies, practices and procedures- Basic knowledge of software required for position- Good organizational skills- Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computationsPreferred Experience- AutoCAD and MicroStation drafting experience a plus.About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
