Erie 1 BOCES Summer Program Locations: Maryvale (Cheektowaga) Mill Middle School (Williamsville) West Seneca West Middle School (West Seneca)
Duration: July 1, 2023 – August 22, 2023 NOTE: All employees are expected to work the full duration of the Summer Program (6 weeks) Hours: 8:00AM – 2:30PM
Job Responsibilites:
Coordinate all aspects of staffing and programming for a special education extended school year program serving students with special needs in grades K-12 from across Erie County.
The summer Principal will coordinate staffing/hiring for the site prior to the start of the program (April - June under a separate hourly employment agrement).
Job Qualifications
New York State Administrative Certification (Building / District Level Certification)
Experience in both Special Education and Leadership / school admininistration
Ability to work with staff in problem-solving situations
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong organizational and management skills
