The Senior Supervisor shall oversee all Coordinators, Specialists and their work in the department to ensure compliance in accordance with E1B standards as well as Federal, State and local laws and guidelines. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Assistant Superintendent.Specific Duties:1. Direct oversight of all aspects of Staff Development Days including: coordination, planning, implementation, budget and accountability in collaboration with Coordinators and building administration.2. Works with Instructional Services staff on district and division specific initiatives such as technology, literacy, e-portfolios, certifications, pathways.3. Direct oversight of all aspects of E1B Professional Development Plan including: organizing, implementing and preparation of submittals.4. Direct oversight of all aspects of E1B District Required Professional Development Plan including: organizing, implementing and preparation of submittals in Frontline and securing developers to provide PD.5. Direct oversight of all aspects of New Teacher Orientation and E1B Mentor/Intern program including: organizing, implementing and preparation of mentors and intern trainings, assignments with approval by M/I committee.6. Direct oversight of implementation of E1B’s APPR plan and student assessment including program data analysis as mandated by the state and federal requirements related to teacher, principal evaluations and program approvals.7. Direct support and supervision of E1B technology services as it relates to instruction including development of the E1B Technology Plan including.8. Acts as DDC/CIO on behalf of E1B and oversees affiliated reporting.9. Direct oversight and facilitation of E1B Curriculum Council.10. Direct oversight and acting Board member of the WNY Teacher Center.11. Participates in WNY BOCES - Teach to Lead Initiative.12. Direct oversight of New Teacher Focus Groups.13. Direct oversight and organization of the Summer Leadership Series.14. Participates in leadership organizations, associations, initiatives, and committees as requested such as ACTEA, IDAB, Onboarding, IDEA, and SMART.15.
