PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) is the home of PepsiCo's US beverage businesses including iconic brands such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Gatorade. Recognizing the critical importance of US Hispanics (numbering over 57 million strong), PBNA has created the Hispanic Business Unit (HBU) which is a cross-functional team focused on winning with Hispanic consumers to drive future growth. Our vision is to become the most loved food & beverage company among US Hispanics by engaging their hearts and minds in their authentic voices. Within the HBU, the Culture Marketing team is charged with creating a relevant and inspiring product portfolio for Hispanic consumers as well as powerful and authentic communication and activation plans with our priority brands.

With the potential business opportunity conservatively estimated at over $1 Billion in incremental sales, success with Hispanics will drive PBNA growth in the coming years. In order to help achieve that vision, the Senior Manager of Pepsi Platforms on the Culture Marketing team will be responsible for creating and executing consumer-grounded, equity-building, and commercially-impactful programming for TM Pepsi. This role will require a high degree of influence and collaboration across a number of key stakeholders including brand marketing, sales, strategy, field, and commercial planning.

* While firmly grounded in commercial goals and sales impact, the true measure of success in this role will be winning the hearts and minds of Hispanic consumers. The best positioned candidates will have a demonstrable understanding of cultural nuances and a passion for bringing those nuances to life in a relevant and impactful way.
* Responsible for developing & executing true 360-degree media-to-shelf programs for TM Pepsi
* Oversee Hispanic-specific programs (e.g. Music, Sports, Holidays) including creative development, TV/radio/OOH/digital, social/influencers, retail theater, consumer sweepstakes/flyaways, PR, and all other program components
* Amplify general market programs (e.g. Innovation, Summer)
* Lead commercial planning (retail & Foodservice plans in close collaboration with sales, Demand Xcelerator, divisions)
* Strong partnership with HBU sales team to embed Pepsi Platforms in JBP process and customer programming calendars including retail activations, ASPs, and innovation launches
* Work closely with key agencies to deliver best-in-class creative and media plans (including media tentpoles) that effectively and efficiently reach clearly defined consumer/shopper target
* Own communication & coordination with divisions to ensure strong in-market execution of brand consumer & retail programs
* Allocate and efficiently manage A&M budget to support key priorities
* People manager responsible for the growth and performance of a senior marketing analyst

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required; marketing major preferred
* With advanced degree, minimum 5-8 years of experience; preferably in the consumer goods industry, client or agency
* With bachelor’s degree, minimum 8-10 years of experience; preferably in the consumer goods industry, client or agency

Preferred Qualifications:
* Master’s degree or MBA; marketing major or concentration
* Cultural or lifestyle marketing experience
* Consumer/Shopper-Centric Mindset - An understanding of how consumer/shopper insights drive the development of effective marketing programs and campaigns
* Cultural Passion - An existing expertise or enthusiasm for building a deep understanding of the cultural nuances that matter and the ability to translate those nuances into meaningful consumer programs; knowledge of Hispanic culture/insights ideal but not required
* Matrix Mastery - Ability to partner with Global, Insights, S&I, Commercial, Comms and Brand team leadership to build and execute Hispanic relevant programming and innovations on time and with maximum effectiveness
* Highly Creative Thinker - Ability to take broad ambiguous ideas and turn them into clear opportunity areas with an action plan
* Strong Analytical Skills - Comfort with data including the ability to identify trends and extract actionable insights; previous ownership of comprehensive analytical tasks and projects
* Strategic Agility - Ability to extrapolate beyond the current and envision new products, platforms, and partnerships which will drive future business growth
* Bias for Action - Highly responsive worker with an agile mindset, excellent multi-tasking/attention to detail, sense of urgency, project management, and prioritization skills
* Strong Problem-Solving Capabilities - Track record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
