The Salvation Army Corps Ministry Helper in White Plains, New York
Overview
A member of the Youth Education team of the White Plains Corps. Be a site manager for the After-School Program and Summer Day Camp Program. Complete any correspondence and paperwork requested by the Child Care Council in order to remain in good standing with OCFS. Correspond with parents of children participating in program. This is a Part Time position, 25 hours a week. Monday 5:00PM-10:00PM and Tuesday through Friday, 2:00PM-7:00PM
Responsibilities
· Direct and run After School program· Be Responsible for After School pick-ups· Coordinate Summer Day Camp program· Prepare Star Lake camp application· Complete All OCSF and building licensing· Search and prepare Grants· Work with local Corps leadership, etc. for purposes of planning, scheduling, training etc
Qualifications
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills· At least 2 years’ experience working with youth· Valid Drivers License· Ability to manage and motivate volunteer workers
